The Chief Executive Officer of Wa All Stars, Oduro Nyarko has advised the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to come with a novelty arrangement that will see the clubs active in the midst of the confusion that has rocked the start of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
In his opinion, the GFA should organise a mini competition and prepare for the 2018/19 season which will start in August in synchronisation with the European football calendar.
“Every club is ready to play the league but if the circumstances are not helping us to play, let’s just play either a Novelty League, Elite Cup or even if the GFA can organise something for the clubs and play the FA Cup in full just to keep our players busy” he told Accra based Top FM.
“By May [2018], we will be through with it and start the next season by August [2018]” he added. Oduro Nyarko, the experienced football administrator, runs the club owned by GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
