The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA has ordered for the closure of the Gyandu Park for all football activities with immediate effect.
This comes at the back of an increasing spate of crowd violence and notoriety at the venu during league games involving Eleven Wise and other clubs.
On Saturday coach of Elmina Sharks, Kobina Amissah was mercilessly beaten till he collapsed by alleged Eleven Wise supporters despite Wise not playing at the venue.
Elmina Sharks had beaten Proud United by 1-0 at the venue which is well noted for vandalism.
This has made GN Bank, official sponsor of the Division One League, to suspend their attachment till further notice.
Meanwhile, the GFA is yet to release a statement on Proud United who used the venue for the match.
