Olympiakos is set to face Ionikos at OAKA for the 30th round game of the Greek championship with young striker Peter Ofori Quaye on their side after a long period of time. The good behavior shown by the young Ghanean during his contract ban, and at the same time the new coaching stuff at Olympiakos, were the main reasons that PAE Olympiakos management decided to lift the player's ban and let him play. Yiannis Matzourakis had asked PAE Olympiakos president Socrates Kokkalis to re-think the Ofori Quaye matter, and finally the Olympiakos president gave the green light.

Yiannis Matzourakis had asked PAE Olympiakos president Socrates Kokkalis to re-think the Ofori Quaye matter, and finally the Olympiakos president gave the green light. Let us remind you that prior to this happening Yiannis Matzourakis had multiple discussions with the player who now claims that he completely understands the mistakes that he made in the past and is ready for full compliance with the team rules and regulations. The friendly game against Aigaleo (4/25, 4-2) was a good start for the young striker who was the best Olympiakos player on the field. Ofori Quaye's return gives a temporary solution to Yiannis Matzourakis since he can't count on Sinisa Gogic after the player's injury (during the friendly against Aigaleo) will keep him out for at least another two weeks.
