Accra, April 24, GNA - The Onetouch Premier league, which went on a midseason break of over one month resumes on Sunday, April 27. The second round promises to be full of attraction as all the 16 participating teams took advantage of the second registration window to strengthen their team.

Hearts of Oak, the defending champions who had an appalling first round enriched their team with big names, which helped them to win the African Champions League and the Super Cup in 2000. Three-time national highest goal scorer, Ishmael Addo, who had an unsuccessful stint in Europe is back along side mercurial Charles Asampong Taylor, whose transfer to rivals Asante Kotoko four seasons ago for one billion cedis broke the national player purchasing record. New Israeli coach, Eyal Lachman has shown a lot of zeal and enthusiasm and has been working hard to reverse the fortunes of the team.

Bottom club Accra Great Olympics signed 15 new players and of leaded 12, including two top performers, Edward Sosu and Winfred Dormon for disloyalty and lack of commitment. The management of the club has announced severally that the bottom club would not be relegated and coach Abraham Allotey must bring those promises to reality.

What would have been the top liner for this week in Tamale has been shelved as leaders, Asante Kotoko have travelled to Calabar, Nigeria to play Dolphins of Port Harcourt in an African Confederations Cup match, thus putting Real Tamale United on holiday on the opening day.

On Sunday, third placed Heart of Lions will try to avenge their first round defeat when they host Wa All Stars, who beat them 3-0 at Kpando. The Lions are always in a devastating form in their den and a massive home win could be in the offing. Arsenal play new entrants Zaytuna of Dansoman at Berekum and pundits will put their money on the home side. It will be a must win for Accra Hearts of Oak when they host Real Sportive at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra while Great Olympics must be at their best to get a decent result when they travel to play Tema Youth on their artificial home turf.

It will be a battle of equals when Kessben host Ashantigold at the Abrankese Stadium. It is a match that can go either-way and it will be a real test of character for ex international Mohammed Gargo who has assumed the realms of coaching at Ashantigold after the departure of David Duncan. Duncan, the former Ghana Under17 national coach is set to join a premier league team in South Africa. Second placed, Liberty Professionals should beat Sekondi Hasaacas at their Carl Reindolf Park at Dansoman and King Faisal are tipped to beat Gamba All Blacks at the Baba Rara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
