Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene hopes he can keep scoring to earn a dream call-up into the Black Stars.
The 28-year-old, who plays for Ismaily, is aiming to gatecrash the squad ahead of the country's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria next month.
Banahene has scored three goals in six outings for the Egyptian side and hopes to earn a call-up into the team ahead of the crucial qualifier against the Pharaohs on November 13.
“Yes, I will be very happy if I get a call-up, I am doing my best for my Club, I have been able to score three goals so far and am happy for that,” he is quoted by Ghanasportsonline
“I hope to get a call-up for the Egypt game, am ever ready to play for my Nation and give my best.
“And I know I will not disappoint of given another opportunity in the Black Stars.”
