Sanzio Bahner, the coach of Accra Hearts of Oak is not enthused about media reports linking him to the vacant job of coach of AshantiGold.
The German who is still under contract with Hearts to the end of the season has taken a lot of flak for the failure of the Phobians to defend the league trophy this season.
But Sanzio Bahner insists that he is not to be blamed for the club?s inability to mount a successful defence of the league title.
Bahner denied any links to the AshantiGold coaching job and said he was concentrating on building the team for their continental assignments and next year?s premier league.
?Hearts of Oak is my team, I haven?t made a move to AshantiGold.
?I would be presenting my technical report to the management before leaving for holiday?s on Monday. I am committed to Hearts and want to prepare for the season and get better next season.
?I don?t know where these rumours are coming from. I only hear names been mentioned for the AshantiGold job and Bahner?s name is also been mentioned. But I haven?t applied for the job,? Bahner said.
The former King Faisal coach took over as coach of Accra Hearts following the death of Offei Ansah midway through the season.
