Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Oti Akenteng has envisaged a 'tactical' match between the Black Satellites and Senegal in the ongoing African Youth Championship on Wednesday.
Following a 2-0 win over Burkina Faso on Monday, the Black Satellites are set to take on the Young Teranga Lions, who beat Mali 2-0 in the other group game, at the Maradi Stadium.
Both teams are tied on three points at the top of Group B, a win for either side will secure one of Africa's four tickets for the global showpiece in May/June.
Speaking ahead of the game, Oti Akenteng says the Black Satellites will face difficulty in overcoming their West African counterparts but believes Jimmy Cobblah's charges have what it takes to execute the job and march on to the next stage of the competition.
"It's going to be a tactical game because their level is very high but I think our players are poised to qualify," Akenteng told Happy FM.
"I've had the opportunity of watching their training and I must admit that the a formidable side but the performance our players exhibited in the last game gives me hope that we'll beat them. I'm looking forward to a good game."
