Black Stars coach Otto Addo's arrival in Ghana for the upcoming matches against Mali and the Central African Republic is expected to be delayed.
Reports suggest that Addo plans to attend the UEFA Champions League final before joining the Black Stars squad.
As per Angel FM, Addo is contemplating being with the Dortmund delegation at the Champions League final, which precedes the Black Stars' engagements.
Ghana is set to play against Mali in Bamako on June 6, followed by a home game against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on June 10.
The Champions League final is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Wembley Stadium in the UK, featuring a match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, with Addo's team challenging the 14-time champions.
Borussia Dortmund conducted an official send-off for Otto Addo on April 18, 2024. While initial reports indicated his arrival in Ghana this week, Angel FM now reports that he may first witness the Champions League final.
It is anticipated that Otto Addo will soon announce the squad for the two World Cup qualifying matches.
