Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams has disclosed that the team's determination propelled them to beat Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
In a game played at Golden City Park, the Phobians scored three goals to cruise to an emphatic win at full-time.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Salim Adams said the team was aiming to score more for the victory.
"We were expecting to win by five goals, not three, because we are determined. We know we are not in normal times, so we were very determined," the Hearts of Oak midfielder said.
Salim Adams continued, "This win boosts our morale, and we are looking forward to the next game. We are taking it one match at a time."
After putting up a very good performance against Berekum Chelsea, Salim Adams was adjudged Man of the Match at the end of the contest.
