Owusu-Baah, Margaret win G-18 Golf

Tema, Feb. 18, GNA - Paul Owusu-Baah and his wife, Margaret, representatives of Databank Financial Services scored 59 points, to win this year's 'G-18' Golf Championship played at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday.

The winners, who played 29 Front and 30 Back with a Handicap of 18, received two business class air tickets to Dubai as their prize. Percy Amihere and his partner, Mona Captain who represented Prestige Motor Company Limited, took the second position with 58 points, the pair of Michael Osei and Robert Allotey from Mobile Choice, placed third with 54 points, Eric Drybeck and Bob Evans of Safebond Company Limited, fourth with 51 points and Peter Paitey and Emmanuel Gbesemete of Mobile Choice, fifth with 50 points.

Mrs Stephanie Addo, Managing Director of Letage Company Limited, organisers of the competition said the aim of the event was to establish cordial relations between the 18 corporate bodies that participated and to enable the companies to help in the development of the sport. She gave the assurance that the competition would be played again next year.
