Former Ghana striker Junior Agogo looks to have completely recovered from his stroke with some heart-warming pictures to show the massive strides he has made after the unfortunate setback.
As a professional footballer, Manuel ‘Junior‘ Agogo scored over 140 goals in his professional career and immensely helped Ghana qualify for the final stages of the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations where they placed third.
At 32 Junior Agogo was at the pinnacle of his career, playing great soccer and was idolized by many.
News about Agogo's stroke shocked the world in January 2015, after retiring from football. He was reported to have been struck with Aphasia which adversely impeded his speech liabilities.
Manuel's personality is loved by many around the globe and undoubtedly people took to social media to share their fondest memories of him.
Speaking for the first time after the stroke in a BBC documentary published on October 29, 2017, Agogo said the stroke left him lacking confidence, and he feels socially isolated. He also revealed how his mother single handedly took care of him.
Agogo is now back to his best and has started going out to see family and friends after a long while.
