PLB Boss Clears the air

The Chairman of the PLB Mr. Welbeck Abrah -Appiah has swiftly reacted to allegation that he insulted the people of Brong Ahafo on a private radio station SPACE FM in Sunyani during a sports program on the 26th April,2007.

Mr .Abrah Appiah who looked bemused and shocked about the media report says he was quoted out of context.

According him he can not imagine himself insulting the people of the second biggest region in the country because he is not better off than the people of the region.

Mr. Appiah said ,”As an educated person and someone who frowns anything that sought to bring division among people, I cannot see myself dinning in the same bowl I detest”.He told Sky Sports The PLB boss revealed he has joined Berekum Arsenals to help make the club one of the greatest clubs on the continent and have good friends in the Brong-Ahafo Region. 'Why do i have to insult the people am about to start working with?I cant do that.

Asked why he decided to join no other club but the gunners of Ghana Football he stated,”Nobody tells the goats where it should brush its white spot”. According to Mr. Abrah Appiah, Arsenals have shown consistency since joining the premiership and will be prudent for him to join no other club since he always wants the best. The PLB boss stated that,the club’s unique administration cannot be underestimated and believes with his coming in to join the Arsenals family, the sky will be the limit for the club.

He also thank the people of Brong-Ahafo for helping the PLB organise such a succesful premiership.
