The Old students of Presbyterian Boys High School, Legon defeated their age-old rivals Accra Academy on penalties to win a football contest at the 2018 edition of PREGISS Family Fun Games held on Monday, July 2 at the PRESEC Legon Park.
After several hours without a goal, the game was settled on penalties where the Oldies of PRESEC dispatched the Od Bleooo Boys 3-0 to claim the bragging rights in the seven-aside football competition. Accra Aca squandered all their three penalty shootouts whiles the home side clinically scored all three.
The PREGISS fun games and family day is organized annually by alumni of the Presbyterian Boys School (PRESEC) and Aburi Girls Secondary School (ABUGISS) to provide an opportunity for families and old students to bond, have fun and spend precious time together.
It was an atmosphere of fun and excitement at this year’s edition as the event brought together old students of the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, Legon (Odade) and Aburi Girls Senior High, Accra Academy Old Boys as well as old students of other invited Senior High Schools.
Participants who thronged the PRESEC park were not left out in the World Cup games as they assembled to watch on one single television of how Brazil beat Mexico to sail through to the quarter-finals at the 2018 World Cup.
