Parma signs 18-year-old striker Carl Davordzie

Italian Serie A side Parma have signed young Ghanaian striker Carl Davordzie from Ghana National Division One side Accra Lions.

Davordzie 18, joined the Crusaders on a one-year deal on Thursday and will start with the Primavera side.

The deal is for one year but it could be extended based on the player's output.

Parma has over the years been a great breeding grounds for Ghanaian players with the likes of Stephen Appiah, Afriyie Acquah, Godfred Adofo and several others honing their talents there.
