Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey, might have played his last game for Arsenal in their 2-1 win over Everton in the final game of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Partey who only has one year left on his contract at Arsenal, featured for the Gunners as they wrapped up what has been described as an impressive season.

The Ghanaian player started in midfield for the Gunners and lasted 69 minutes on the pitch before being substituted.

Idrissa Gueye scored the first goal of the game for Everton, but Takehiro Tomiyasu equalized three minutes later.

Kai Havertz got the late winner in the game, but that wasn’t enough to stop Manchester City from winning the Premier League title.

Partey encountered a lot of difficulties this season as he was sidelined for most of it.

The former Atlético Madrid player ended his season with 14 games in the Premier League and one game each in the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and Emirates Cup.

With Arsenal yet to offer Partey a contract extension, The Standard UK has reported that the 31-year-old could end up leaving the Premier League and is on the list of some clubs in Saudi Arabia.
