There’s been a lot of questions lately concerning the fitness and availability of Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak. But reports gathered reveals that the player is set to be sidelined for a couple of days.
The former Tamale Utretch Academy player has been missing in the club’s recent friendly games raising a lot of concerns among the Phobian fans.
The pacy winger is nursing a groin injury and his return date is still unknown.
Speaking to the media in a recent interview, head of communications of the club, Kwame Opare Addo revealed that “the winger is still nursing a groin injury” and that he still has time to spend in the treatment room.
Opare Addo further gave updates on striker Joseph Esso, who he confirmed to be undergoing rehabilitation and is expected to return to normal training soon.
Razak recently penned down a five year deal with the country’s largest manufacturer of alcoholic beverage, Joy industries. He now serves as the brand ambassador for the company.
Razak has been one of Heart of Oak’s top performers this season. He banged in 4 goals for the Phobians in the first round of the Ghana Premier League including the winner against Asante Kotoko at the Kumasi Sports stadium in April.
