Israeli Premier League outfit Beitar Jerusalem FC have announced the acquisition of Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi in the ongoing transfer window.
The 30-year-old joins the club on a permanent deal after ending his spell with Cypriot outfit Pafos FC.
The former Astana, Alaves and Hannover 96 attacker hand been handed jersey number 27 and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the 2024/25 football season.
Meanwhile, the club in announcing the signing of the Ghanaian forward declined to disclose details of the contract but it is said he committed to a one-year deal.
"Welcome Patrick! The midfielder signed his contract at the club this morning and then received the number 27." The club wrote on Facebook.
Last season, the Ghanaian attacker made 24 appearances for Pafos FC, scoring 3 goals and providing five assists across the period.
Noted for his experience across Europe, the Ghanaian attacker is expected to contribute immensely towards the success of the club in the upcoming season.
Twumasi has had stints with a hosts of clubs in Europe including, Deportivo Alaves, Hannover 96, FC Astana, and others.
He has managed 91 goals and provided 41 assists in 283 matches across Europe.
