Astana goal-getter, Patrick Twumasi admits his side are desperate to qualify to the group stage of the Champions League at the expense of Celtic after losing to the Scottish giants last year.
The Kazakh Premier League champions lost 3-2 to Celtic last season to crush out of the competition.
And the Ghanaian has revealed his side is on a revenge mission to knockout Brendan Brendan Rodgers’ side.
“It would be revenge for us to win so we must give our best," the 23-year-old said ahead of the play-off first-leg at Parkhead.
“Celtic are a great team and a tough team for us in a European competition.
“They are very strong so we don’t have time or any excuse. We just have to keep our focus and then concentrate, give our best on the pitch.”
The return leg takes place in Kazakhstan next week.
