Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu has admitted that his team needs to work more on its defense to improve in that department.
The experienced gaffer disclosed this when the Porcupine Warriors defeated Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League last Sunday.
“What I can say is that going forward we need to work more especially still in our defense. We all agree that we don’t have the best of defense in the league. But then we will manage till the first round ends”, Coach Maxwell Konadu said.
He added, “The ones we have we will continue to work on them until we get it right. We will continue working hard”.
Up next for Asante Kotoko, they will face Liberty Professionals at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium next weekend in a Match Week 7 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
The encounter which will be played behind closed doors will kick off at 15:00GMT.
