Kampala, Uganda -- Hundreds of Ugandan soccer fans are expected to welcome 3-time African Footballer of Year Abedi Pele when he touches down at Entebbe International Airport aboard Kenya Airways at midday.
The African soccer legend will come along with the coveted MTN Africa Nations Cup trophy that will be on display during his three-day promotional tour.
The 43-year-old Ghanaian will kick off his activities with a press conference at Golf Course Hotel at 2.30 p.m. He will later have a session with the triumphant Kampala Kids League (KKL) U-15 boys team that has toured and conquered Europe several times.
Pele is one of Africa's greatest ever players having shone exceptionally at club and international level. He was an intergral part of the strong Marseille side that dominated French football.
