The quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup were concluded on the weekend with the second leg fixtures.

Here is a wrap of how Ghanaian players fared in the two continental competitions from Friday to Sunday.

CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Kwame Bonsu played 84 minutes for Espérance de Tunis when they beat Zamalek SC 1-0 on Friday at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunis.

The result wasn't enough as it was end of the road for Bonsu and the Tunisian giants as they bowed out on a 3-2 aggregate score.

CAF CONFEDERATION CUP

JOHN ANTWI was an unused substitute when Pyramids FC lost 1-0 at home to Zambian side Zanaco FC on Sunday.

Despite the loss, Pyramids FC advanced to the semi-finals of the competition with a 3-1 aggregate advantage.

Defender KEVIN OWUSU AMOH lasted the entire duration of the match for the Zambian side with EMMANUEL OKUTU also been an unused substitute.

Horoya AC saw off Enyimba FC to sail through to the semi-finals of the competition after beating them 2-0 in Conakry on Sunday.

ENOCK ATTA AGYEI enjoyed 81 minutes of the encounter for the Guinean champions who progressed with a 3-1 aggregate scoreline.

HUDU YAKUBU lasted all minutes on the bench for the Guinean giants.

Midfielder FAROUK MOHAMMED played full throttle of the game for Enyimba FC as they exited the competition.
