Berekum Chelsea came from behind to stun ten-man Hearts of Oak 2-1 in their outstanding match-day-28 fixture in the Glo Premier League on Thursday.

A brace by Abdul Basit overturned the lead by Hearts' Isaac Ofori as Hearts miss the chance to move second on the table with two matches to go.

The Phobians drew first blood at the Golden City Park through midfielder Ofori after 32 minutes but they saw red before the half ended.

Defender Attakora Gyimah was sent off for a foul in the box in the 43rd minute.

Referee Ali Musah Plato awarded a penalty against Hearts and Chelsea captain, Abdul Basit equalised by sending goalkeeper Sammy Adjei the wrong way to end the first half 1-1.

Back from the break, Chelsea pinned the Phobians into their half with Hearts occasionally going on the break.

Both sides were guilty of several missed chances as Hearts, struggling to cope with Chelsea's numerical strength kept on delaying play.

But in stoppage-time, Chelsea beat the off-side trap which allowed Basit to slot home the match winner, which was his second goal.

And the goal riled the Hearts bench who protested against the the referee's decision to allow the goal to stand.
