Liverpool legend, John Barnes paid a visit to Databank in Accra for a brief meet and greet with staff and customers of Databank, earlier today.
Banes' visit brought an atmosphere of joy among those present at the time of the visit.
They took turns in taking photographs with the legend and also had their Stanchart/Liverpool customized shirts autographed by the football star.
According to Databank, the former English footballer's presence is courtesy Stanchart, one of the key banking partners and a Liverpool sponsor.
John Charles Bryan Barnes was known to be a fast and skillful left wing player. He had successful periods at Watford and Liverpool in the 1980s and 1990s and played for the England national team on 79 occasions.
In 2006, in a poll of Liverpool fans' favourite players, Barnes came fifth; a year later FourFourTwo magazine named him Liverpool's best player of all time.
Barnes currently works as a commentator and pundit for ESPN[2] and SuperSport.
