Polack vents his frustrations in Kotoko contract extension delays

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack, says he remains hopefully of reaching an agreement with management of the club in the shortest possible time, in order to allow him visit his family in the United States of America.

Reports in the media landscape suggest that, talks between the two parties have failed so far, as Polack demanding $5000 per month salary with management opting for a lesser fee which has caused a stalemate in the negotiating process.

But the former Berekum Chelsea coach has denied reports in the media which suggest to the above assertion and further stated that, negotiations just begun and remains hopeful of reaching an agreement with the management very soon.

“We just started negotiations ,we are just negotiating at this moment, hopefully we will in the next few days we will closed with that because I really want to go home and see my family.

“The numbers ($5000) am said to be demanding are very very wrong, when am negotiating in Europe. I know what am worth to be playing and to be paid as a coach, so we are still on negotiations, so let’s see what happens, ” Polack told Fox FM.

Polack propelled Kotoko to fifth position in the just ended season as well as winning the 2017 MTN FA Cup after defeating arch-rivals Hearts in the finals of the competition.
