In another twist ahead of the opening game of the Tema Basketball League Campaign Tournament, Ghana Police has been reactivated as a participant.

Information gathered earlier today indicated Police had been replaced by University of Professional Studies (UPSA) due to non committal behavior from the team hierarchy.

However, word got out Police has been reinstated in the roster and will feature in today’s games against Tema Community 4 in the opening game.

UPSA was set to play the reigning Tema Basketball League Champions but will no t have the chance to do so any longer.

Per reports reaching Basketballghana.com, the tertiary side is set to compete in the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games in Tamale in January next year and viewed playing in the tournament as the ideal preparation.

Despite the changes, no game was played today as heavy rain prevented scheduled fixtures from getting honored as planned.

Francophone Stars were due to play Ghana Navy and Ashaiman Lions due to play Tema Heat in the last game of the round.
