Police steals show at SESSA Games

Accra, July 9, GNA- The Ghana Police Service stole the show at the Eighth Security Services Sports Associations (SESSA) Games, which ended at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Friday.

The Police emerged winners in six events, namely Handball and Volleyball for both male and female, women Tug of War and overall champions in the Table Tennis competition.

The Police by these results have retained the title as the overall champions of the security games, which they won last year.

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) who won in four categories including men's Hockey, men's Tug of War and female and male soccer.

The host, Customs Exercise and Preventive Service (CEPS) dominated in the male and female basketball competitions while Fire Service won the women's hockey.

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), which did not perform well in the games since its revival after ten years of inactivity placed third in the womens' volleyball event.
