Portsmouth renew interest in Appiah

Portsmouth Football Club are weighing up a move for Stephen Appiah.

Manager Harry Redknapp remains eager to further bolster his improving Pompey squad ahead of the transfer deadline, and is keen to strike a deal for Appiah.

The Ghana international impressed hugely during the World Cup Finals, and is known to be interested in a move to The Premiership this summer.

And following Fenerbahce?s UEFA Champions League elimination this week, the midfielder could well get his wish, with Redknapp reportedly readying a ?6million bid.
