Bechem United forward Peter Essien has emerged as a transfer target for clubs in the Glo Ghana Premier League.
The clubs have invaded the camp of the newly-promoted side in their desperate attempts to lure the player away from the club.
Bechem United now face a real battle to keep hold of the former Ghana youth international.
The 22 year old says he could be tempted by a switch if any offer meets his club’s demand.
“I want to play at the highest level possibly. Clubs have expressed interest but it depends on what my club, Bechem United thinks,” Essien said.
“It appears all the interested clubs are all convinced of my play after watching my play in my outings in the Premiership.”
The striker has scored two goals in their last two matches against AshGold and Berekum Chelsea.
Essien was a member of the Ghana Under-17 team who won silver at the 2005 Africa Championship in Gambia and played at the Fifa World Cup in Peru.
