According to fixtures released by the Professional League Board, organisers of the OneTouch Premier League, Hearts would be at home for the Accra derby in a match-of-the-day clash with the Dade Boys.

Debutants, Kessben FC would be opening up their newly constructed mini-stadium at Abrankese to Sekondi Hasaacas while Wa All Stars play away to Berekum Arsenals. Zaytuna FC would travel up north to play Real Tamale United.

After match-day-1, the league would continue on the weekend of December 8-9 before mid-week games come into play beginning on December 12 when the 16 teams play match-day-3.

Ten matches would be played by January 13 before the league takes a break to allow for the 2008 African Cup of Nations to be hosted by Ghana at four match venues which would not be made available for the 10 premiership games.

The Premiership returns from the break on February 24 with match-day-11 games as three of the CAN 2008 match venues host league games.

Accra Hearts of Oak, Accra Great Olympics, Real Tamale United and Asante Kotoko would make use of the Ohene Djan stadium, Tamale Stadium and the Baba Yara stadium.

The Essipong stadium would not be used as Sekondi Hasaacas play away on match-day-11.

The biggest game of the premiership between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko would come up first on the March 2 at the Ohene Djan stadium on match-day-12 when the defending champions, the Phobians host their archrivals, the Porcupine Warriors.

The final day of the first round of the premiership is on March 16.
