President of Amputee Football Federation loses mother

The death has been reported in Accra of Madam Sarah Tsotso Quaye, 83, mother of Mr Francis Adjetey Sowah, President of the Amputee Football Federation of Africa.

Mr Adjetey Sowah is also the founder of Ghana Amputee Football Federation and Disabled Christian Fellowship International.

The late Madam Quaye, whose death occurred at her residence in Accra on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, was a renowned trader in clothes at the then Makola Number One now Rawlings Park; and was also a supplier of foodstuff to the 37 Military Hospital.

Condolences and sympathies came from countries such as Liberia, Angola, Kenya, Niger and Nigeria, as well as some Ministers of State in Ghana.

Mr Adjetey Sowah in an interview with the Ghana News Agency said burial and funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
