Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu believes forward Prince Opoku Agyemang is the best player in the Ghana Premier League.
The lanky forward netted 11 times before the season was suspended due to COVID-19, placing him third on the top scorer's chart.
Despite fierce competition from Nigerien forward Victorien Adebayor and experienced Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed, the Medeama boss explains Opoku Agyemang stands tall following his arrival from the Division One.
“I will say our striker Prince Opoku Agyemang, the reason is I took him from Division One (New Edubiase) and he has been very clever with the way he has adapted to the Premier League in his first season,” he told Wontumi Radio.
“And aside him being a goal scorer, he also holds the ball and dribble wells too.
“Someone will argue with Victorien Adebayor BUT he has been consistent in the league in almost 2 to 3 years so for ‘Abedi’ Prince to compete with Adebayor and Yahaya Mohammed for goal king then I believe he’s a great player and deserve best player in the Ghana league.”
Agyemang's impressive displays has seen him pop up on the radar of South African club Cape Town City FC.
