Prince and Baseline returns with another promotion

Accra, Nov. 12, GNA - Prince and Baseline, one of the country's foremost boxing promoters have bounced back to the pugilist trade after three years of absence.

Prince and Baseline Promotions who are on record for successfully organising a National Super-weight Championship between Raymond Narh and Smith Odoom three years ago, will in collaboration with Box Office Sports present boxing fans with eight bouts of exciting boxing at the Metro TV Academy Park on December 26. The night will see Emmanuel Tagoe of Black Panther Gym taking on Alfred Tetteh of the Bukom Gym in the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Pan African Featherweight Championship, whilst Obodai Sai of Attoh Quashie Gym battles Ayi Aryeetey from the Sagaa Gym for the National Super Welterweight title. Also on the bill is a fierce contest between former Commonwealth Super Lightweight champion, Joshua Okine (Bukom Gym) and Ishmael Tetteh (Panix Gym) in a Commonwealth Super Welterweight Eliminator, while James Toney also engages Ibole Issaka in another Commonwealth Super Middleweight eliminator.

Lankwei Wilson of the Wisdom Gym and Patrick Okine of the Attoh Quarshie Gym will also engage in an eliminator in the National Featherweight category. Also appearing on the bill are Prosper Ankrah (Bronx Gym) and Kwabena Johnson (Billy Kotey Gym) in an eight round Bantamweight contest with Bastir Samir (Wisdom Gym) and Paul Achaab (Fit Square Gym) sorting themselves out in a six round Middleweight contest. Kotey Neequaye of the Attoh Quarshie Gym and Ronny Addo from the Square Deal Gym will complete the night's exciting bouts with a six round Lightweight contest.
