Two straight defeats at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is enough indication that Ghana's campaign at the tournament did not go to plan.

But before returning home, the Black Princesses will be seeking to bow out with grace on Monday when they meet China PR in the last Group D match in the Japanese city of Saitama.

The Black Princesses sit bottom of the table after a frustrating opening two matches.

However, there is still everything to play for in the group where China are battling with the United States to qualify alongside Germany from the group.

The Chinese need a big win and hope the United States lose against the Germans to be certain of progressing.

For Ghana, scoreless after 180 minutes of football, restoring pride in their final fixture against China PR will be the perfect note to sign off on.

“We want to end the tournament on a positive note. That would be good for this team and our country," Ghana coach Robert Sackey said.
