Private Schools Games end in Accra

Accra, Nov 12, GNA - This year's Private Schools Games competition ended at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex at the weekend.

In the soccer competition, Dzokson Business College defeated Top Academy 2-1 for the ultimate position, with Presby Secondary Commercial placing third. Action Progressive Institute defeated Presby

Secondary Commercial 4-2 on penalties to win the female soccer competition.

This was after both sides had engaged in a barren game at the end of regulation time.

Salem Secondary School were dominant in the Girls Volleyball competition, when they beat Mars Business College 2-0 to win the top prize with New Generation Institute beating Action Progressive Institute 2-1 to grab the third place.

In the Boys Volleyball, St Peters took the first place after silencing Action Progressive 2-1, whilst Madina Secondary Technical also defeated Presby

Secondary Commercial 2-1 for the third position. Salem Secondary School also won the Girls Handball competition by beating New Generation Academy 5-3, but New Generation managed to change their fortunes in the Boys Handball by defeating Salem Secondary School 10-1 to end the competition.
