Black Stars winger Christian Atsu has been earning some praises in town after he offered to pay for the cost of items stolen by four shoplifters at Accra Mall Wednesday morning.
The four young girls were caught stealing clothes at the Vlisco shop inside the Accra Mall located at the Tetteh Quarshie roundabout.
Luck, however, was on their side as Atsu who happened to be shopping at the mega shopping mall, offered to bail them out by dishing out a few Ghana Cedis to save the faces of the disgraced girls.
Atsu is in the country on holidays as he prepares for new life at Bournemouth, the newly promoted English Premier League club he has joined on loan from Chelsea for the upcoming 2015/16 season.
The winger scored the opener as Ghana thrashed Mauritius 7-1 in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations match day one qualifier in Accra on June 14.
