Dr Prosper Ogum Narteh
Asante Kotoko head coach Dr Prosper Ogum Narteh has joined the team for pre-season following his recovery from a short illness.
The manager has been out for about a month and thus missed the club's Democracy Cup tie against Hearts of Oak.
Assistant manager David Ocloo has confirmed the return of the head coach, stating that the gaffer will resume training today, July 31, 2024.
“We were proud of you because your performance against Hearts of Oak was excellent,” he said as quoted by footballghana.com.
“We’ve started the preseason. Our head coach Ogum will be with us on Wednesday. He is physically fit” he added.
Asante Koko have embarked on a squad as they hope to have a better turnout next season in contrast to their appalling performance last season.
Prosper Ogum led the Porcupines to a 6th place finish with 49 points winning less than half of their games.
