Quaye, Lamptey, rematch set for August 11

The much-anticipated rematch between Sheriff Quaye and Benjamin Lamptey will come off on August 11 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The duo fought for the National Lightweight Championship two years ago, but Quaye toppled Lamptey by winning via split decision.

In the said fight, Lamptey dropped Quaye in round four with a straight right, but the latter did not despair as he warmed himself into the fight and claimed the win he was looking for at the end of the clash.

After the fight, Lamptey said he was not happy, claiming he was robbed.

And after series of discussions, the two will return to the ring again to test their fists.

The upcoming clash is one of the fights put together by Cabic Promotions.
