RTU beat Tema Youth

Nana Giwah brightened Real Tamale United's (RTU) chances of staying in the premiership when he scored the only goal of the match, which enabled the homers to beat visiting Tema Youth.

The goal at the Kaladan Sports Stadium in Tamale was registered in the 13th minute of the match.

The game, which was kickoff at about 15:05GMT saw RTU dominating with strong tackles.

Tema Youth struggled tried hard in search of the equalizer after the goal and had a lot of nice opportunities but could not convert them. The visitors returned for the second half strongly and matched the home team boot for boot by creating many decent opportunities with Ibrahim Dushi coming close with a header in the 55th minute. Goal scorer, Nana Giwah was adjudged the best player of the afternoon and he received a prize from the sponsors, Onetouch of Ghana Telecom.
