Milovan Rajevac will make good on his promise to try as many of his players in the trial matches with an entirely different starting line-up that started the defeat to Holland on Tuesday.

The Serbian has been in training with the Black Stars over the last week in Milton Keynes, England and will round it up against Latvia on Saturday afternoon.

Ghana are looking for a result that will restore confidence after the crushing defeat by the Dutch and will seek that with a changed line-up.

Richard Kingston is likely to give way to Liberty Professionals goalkeeper Daniel Adjei, while Samuel Inkoom will start ahead of John Paintsil at right-back, and Lee Addy looks set to be handed the opportunity to compete for the problematic left-back slot after Hans Sarpei’s unimpressive display in the Holland game.

The Serbian used the pair of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Anthony Annan in central midfield in the final training session, while Prince Tagoe was deployed on the right side of attack, Dede Ayew on the left, and Asamoah Gyan as the main striker with Kwadwo Asamoah playing just off him.

The midfield and frontline, KickOffGhana.com understands, is Rajevac’s first-choice for the tournament, while the Serbian will also be keen to see how his preferred central defensive partnership of Isaac Vorsah and John Mensah does in their first start together against Latvia.

Probably line up:

Daniel Adjei,

Samuel Inkoom, Isaac Vorsah, John Mensah, Lee Addy,

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Anthony Annan,

Prince Tagoe, Kwadwo Asamoah, Dede Ayew

Asamoah Gyan.
