Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila may not spend next season in Kuwait as agent Pedro Serpa Pinto has disclosed to GHANAsoccernet.com that he has received several offers from Europe for the industrious defender.
The workaholic defender has been offered a year contract extension by Kuwait champions Al Qadsia but his agent has hinted that the player may play in Europe next season.
“We have received some offers from three countries now but we are still considering where the player can develop well,” the Portuguese agent said.
“I can confirm that some clubs in France, Belgium and Germany have contacted us. But we are yet to open talks with any of them,” he added.
Sumaila, 23, won the best foreign player award in Kuwait as well as the best defender in Al Qadsia.
His remarkable form this season has attracted many clubs around the world with Europe being the possible destination for the former Asante Kotoko defender.
