Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila scored a goal to help his club beat Kuwaiti U-23 side in a friendly encounter.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender headed home his side’s first goal in a real dominant encounter which was bossed by Al Qadsia.
Second half goals from Hamid and Abdul Kadir rounded up a one-sided affair for Al Qadsia before Umar Malik got a consolation for the national U-23 side.
Sumaila signed a three-year deal with the Kuwaiti side after initially impressing out on loan last season with the club.
