Rashid Sumaila wanted in Portugal

Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has been linked with a surprise move away from Al Qadsia just five months into his three-year deal.

The highly-rated Ghana international has been a massive hit since joining Qadsia in the summer.

Rashid has played in all league games and has been pivotal in their first place position with just three games to the end the first round of games in the Kuwaiti league.

The former Asante Kotoko defender played for Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa where he helped them to their first league title in 7 years.

Reports in the Kuwaiti media this morning say the 22-year-old is a January target for unnamed Portuguese side.
