Black Stars goalkeeper, Abdul Razak Braimah, registered his first clean sheet of the season in and an impressive display for Spanish second tier side Cordoba.
The impressive goalie starred between the sticks to steer FC Cordoba into fourth place in the Spanish Segunda division.
Razak Braimah, who rejoined the Spanish second tier side for the second time this summer, showed glimpses of the form that saw him steal the nation’s number one slot from under the nose of his competitors. His acrobatic saves and audible organization of the back line guided Cordoba to a 1-0 home win over Real Vallodolid in the opening rounds of fixtures in the Spanish Segunda division.
Still in the Segunda league, Nuhu kassim could not gatecrash his way into the Real Mallorca side that opened the season away to Alcoron.
Kassim was only made to watch from the bench in the opening fixtures of Spain’s second tier league.
Elsewhere in the lower leagues, Albert Adomah saw 90 minutes of action for Middlesborough in their 0-1 reverse at the hands of Bristol city. The ineffective Albert was replaced with 30 minutes to play for in the contest.
In the English League One, Enoch Ebo Andoh was replaced on 70 minutes for Port vale at home to Doncaster in a 3-0 win.
The workaholic Enoch announced his presence in the game with a series of impressive moves during his 70 minutes stay on the pitch.
Derrick Asamoah lasted one hour for Carslie in their 1-1 drawn game with Wimbledon. His compatriot, Kevin Osei couldn’t make the team for Carslie on the night in England third tier league.
