German-born Ghanaian youngster Razak Iddrisu has joined Dutch side FC Twente on trials, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
The 19-year-old is hoping to impress Jong FC Twente manager Michel Jansen as he spends the upcoming weeks on trials at Hengelo where FC Twente’s second string side play their games.
The attacker is praying to secure a move to the Dutch league after leaving German side VfL Wolfsburg where he was rated as one of the most talented players in Germany three years ago.
Iddrisu debuted for the side in their 2-0 friendly loss against AZ Alkmaar on Monday afternoon, lasting 65 minutes at Hengelo.
“I hope I get to play in Dutch football because it suits me well,” he told TwenteInsite.
The son of the former Ghana U17 player also talked about his qualities: “I have good abilities with the ball in terms of dribbling I can be really fast on the wings and can shoot too. In addition, I can also effect free kicks. The last time I was played as a number 10 but my favourite position is left out wide.”
