Ghana and Mirandes goalkeeper Razak Brimah has been noted as the biggest threat for strikers in the Spanish second tier, Spain’s biggest sports newspaper has reported.

According to a report in the Marca, Real Zaragoza biggest enemy will be the Ghana shot-stopper when the two sides clash with in the Segunda Division match today.

The revelation is a massive confidence boost for the goalkeeper in the fight for the first choice slot in the Ghana national team ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Razak’s impressive showing in matches in the Spanish second tier for Mirandes has made him the best goalkeeper in the Spanish second tier thanks to impressive record.

According to the report, free scoring Real Zaragoza’s biggest challenge will be to put the ball past Brimah who is gaining the reputation for being difficult to beat.

In the last five games he has played, he has only conceded one goal which was the last weekend match against Barcelona B at the Mini Estadi – ending a run of over 500 minutes without conceding a single goal.

Furthermore, apart from the match in which he was expelled he has only conceded five goals in nine matches.

Razak, 27, has already been instrumental in the salvation of Guadalajara two seasons ago, but they suffered administration which led to his decision to leave the club.
