Ghana's young goalkeeper Razark Abalora is eyeing an invite to the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Red-hot shot glovesman is a former player of West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), who made stints in the country's topflight(GPL) and made impact by recording 12-clean sheets in 15 appearance in the 2016/17 season.

Abalora in an exclusive interview with Footballghana.com revealed his readiness to mend the goal post of the Black Stars whenever he is called upon.

"I am a Ghanaian and I wouldn't hesitate to accept to feature for my country. It’s every player's dream to wear the original colours of his country".

In response to a question posed by the portal as to having the quality and experience that the national team requires, the Azam FC shot-stopper said, "We learn from the aged and should I earn the call up I have to learn from those already up there because they all started like me".

“I think it has all got to do with readiness and determination".

"I am ready but not in a rush, rather waiting for my time", he added.

The 22-year old currently plies his trade with Tanzania giant Azam FC. He is in his second season with the East African country.

He earned a nomination for the best goalkeeper award of Ghana in the 2018 season, placing second.

In the Tanzania Midland Premier league, he was nominated among the top three best goalkeepers in the league in his first season.

He got placed as the first runner up having equalled 2014 clean sheet record of 15 by Prisons FC goal keeper, Manula.

He made an astonished record of been the first goalkeeper in the league to record first four clean sheets in a row in his first stint.

He has recorded 13 clean sheets already in the Tanzania league helping Azam FC to second place on the league table after 18 round of matches.
