Ex-player, Michael Essien
Ghanaian football legend, Michael Essien, has tipped his former club, Real Madrid, to beat German club, Borussia Dortmund, by 2-1 in the highly-anticipated UEFA Champions League final.
The former Chelsea midfielder, who lifted the Champions League trophy with the London club in the 2011/12 season, made his prediction ahead of the clash scheduled for Saturday, June 1.
Essien made his predictions alongside other footballing icons like Luis Figo, Cafu, Kaká, Berbatov, and Sneijder during pre-final events in London.
Real Madrid is looking to win their 15th UEFA Champions League title.
The Spanish giants are determined to add another chapter to their illustrious legacy by overcoming their German opponents.
Dortmund returns to the Champions League final after a decade and is hoping to win the prestigious trophy.
