Regional handball championship slated for Nov 29

Accra, Nov 20, GNA - The Handball Association of Ghana (HAG) will from November 29 to December 1st, organise a three-day Regional Schools Handball Championship in Accra.

A statement signed by Mr Saka Acquaye, General Secreatry of HAG said the championship, which will be sponsored by the French Embassy will attract the four best female and male teams which excelled at the just ended National Sports Festival held at Ho.

Both the male and female teams, which qualified for the events are from Greater Accra, Central, Northern and Ashanti Regions.

According to the statement, the sponsors of the event shall be responsible for the boarding of the participating teams. They will also provide them with fuel subsidy.
