Wa All Stars forward Richard Arthur is on the verge of securing a move away from the Ghana Premier League after he travelled to Switzerland to undergo trials with second-tier side FC Schaffhausen.
The 22-year-old strong forward has scored 8 goals in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and he is one of the reasons All Stars are in the hunt for the league title.
Arthur’s impressive form earlier linked him to a move to Spanish lower side Cordoba which fell through. But the young striker is now bent on impressing manager Axel Thoma’s side that plays in the Challenge League of Switzerland.
Reports indicate that Arthur might earn a three-year deal with FC Schaffhausen should he prove beyond doubts that his purple patch form in the Ghana Premier League was no fluke.
