B/A UNITED BOARD, MANAGEMENT MAD AT GHANAWEB’s STORY
…described it as mere hoax, but vow to go to court
The Board of Directors of B/A United Football Club is furious about the news being advocated that it has fired the Chief Executive Officer of the Club, Mr. Charles Kwadwo Ntim (Micky Charles) due to financial embezzlement.
The Board has described the story as a hoax just purported to destroy the good image of the Chief Executive to distract the attention of the club’s management from its progressive move to qualify for the elite football league.
According to the Board, supporters of B/A United should not be perturbed by the story, because that Raymond Yeboah has a diabolic agenda against the Club and its management.
Apparently furious, the Board Secretary wondered why that Raymond Yeboah should cook such a libelous piece of article about the Board and its Chief Executive to be pasted on the website.
He stressed that the Board would use any legal means for Raymond to disclosed and explain why he came out with such a defamatory story, after which the necessary sanctions would be applied to deter others from doing such unethical stories on the club.
The Chief Executive of B/A United F/C, Charles Kwadwo Ntim was surprise to hear that he has been fired for embezzling an amount of GH¢180,000 from the club’s coffers, because the club has nothing in its coffers before taken over, so he doubt where the reporter got his information from.
According to him, due to his pedigree in the society, he would not allow that Raymond to damage his hard won reputation with such fallacious story.
He hinted that, his solicitors were handling the matter and would at the appropriate time drag that Raymond Yeboah to the law court to authenticate the real source of the story and the member of the Board who signed the dismissal letter.
Micky Charles told this reporter that, Raymond has earlier threaten to propagate falsehood against him, because he (Raymond) belief Micky Charles was behind his dismissal from two Sunyani based local Radio stations Radio BAR and Ark FM.
He said Raymond recently vowed that he would reciprocate his dismissal from the two radio stations which he belief were engineered by Micky Charles with everything within his power.
Micky Charles was however, not disturbed by the story but was a bit furious due to the numerous phone calls received from Radio Sports presenters from all over the country who wanted verification of the story.
He said the Management of the club together with the Board would soon come out with a release to clear the air and battle the matter out with the Author of the story in the law court.
He urged supporters of B/A United to continue rally behind the club to ensure that it qualifies to the elite division next season.
